To the outside world, Scott Walker looks like he’s got it all.

He’s a happily married father and a successful car salesman.

But the 43-year-old is hiding a painful and hugely embarrassing secret.

The whole of his back is covered in severe acne, spots and boils, which can nburst at any time without warning.

It leaves his shirts covered in blood puss and Scott is struggling to cope with plummeting self-esteem and no confidence.

Dr Emma and her team are Scott’s best hope of a cure

The dad is one of the desperate people helped by Dr Emma in The Bad Skin Clinic on Quest Red.

He said: “I’m just ugly. Why would anybody see any good in me?

“I’m covered in bumps, lumps, and it’s something I have to live with every day.

“They are just white lumps of jelly waiting to explode. It’s getting progressively worse as I’m getting older.

“When one cyst pops, you want to be somewhere else because the smell is awful.

“Whatever I’m wearing is ruined, there’s blood everywhere, pus everywhere.

“I’ve actually been with customers when one has popped and I’ve just had to excuse myself and clean up.”

Scott isn’t the only one who struggles with his secret affliction, it’s something his wife, Heather, has problems coping with.

She said: “It does make me gag every time.”

Scott has tried every cream and medication available but nothing seems to work.

Dr Emma gets to work on Scott’s back

Heather has to pack him off to work with two spare shirts in case one of his back blisters pops.

Scott has finally had enough and books an appointment at Dr Emma’s Harley Street surgery.

He said: “I’m hoping Dr Emma can help me both physically and emotionally.

“If there’s any chance of cleaning my back up, I’d be so happy. I could live my life again.”

And the doctor is stunned when she sees Scott’s back.

Dr Emma jokes it looks like a worm

But putting him under local anaesthetic, Dr Emma carefully starts to cut away and squeeze all the cysts, spots and blackheads.

She explains to Scott what has caused each one, saying: “The contents of this cysts is this sebeceous material, it’s this cottage cheese consistency and this cottage cheese kind of smell.”

In total, Dr Emma popsa massive 17 cysts and blackheads and even jokes one “looks like a worm”.

Two months later, Scott is back in the clinic to see if the treatment has worked and Emma is stunned by how smooth his back is.

She said: “It actually does feel like a baby’s bottom.”
