Victoria Derbyshire dropped the C-bomb live on-air today in an epic blunder while discussing Jeremy Hunt.
The telly host was hosting a debate about the ongoing Tory leadership race when she mentioned the foreign secretary and got his name wrong in spectacular fashion.
She immediately apologised and insisted it was “usually men” who make the C-bomb slip-up.
Derbyshire said: “You say the man you’re backing… Jeremy C**t.
“I’m so sorry Jeremy Hunt. I’ve never said that before in my life.
“It’s usually men who say that so I really really want to apologise. I’m sorry.”
It comes just hours after Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid made an equally embarassing slip when talking about fellow Conservative challenger Michael Gove.
Reid had to apologise on-air after making an awkward blunder when talking about Gove’s recent cocaine confession.
The telly beauty, 48, was talking about the politician’s admission about taking the drug 20 years ago while working as a journalist when she tripped over her words.
She said: “Conservative leadership candidate Michael Gove has admitted he was fortunate to avoid jail for using cocaine on several journalists.”
Susanna’s co-host Piers Morgan, 54, couldn’t resist pulling her up on the gaffe.
He retorted: “On several journalist, what? Do you know something we don’t?”
Susanna looked mortified and immediately apologised for her mistake, saying: “He was using it on several occasions…
“Sorry, I’m so sorry… I don’t have inside information.
“He used it on several occasions as a journalist.”
